Mimoun El Marssi is a professor at University of Picardie Jules Verne, Amiens in France. He is the head of the Laboratory of Physics of Condensed Matter (LPMC). He conducts research on the synthesis and characterization of ferroïc materials with controlled structures and functionalities for electronics and energy. A large part of his research concerns the use of Raman spectroscopy to study the symmetries, stresses and phase transitions in ferroic materials in bulk, epitaxial thin films and superlattices. Recently, he interested in studying lead-free electrocaloric materials.
