Doctor of Industrial/Mechanical Engineering and Full Professor at the University of Zaragoza, with more than 30 years of academic and research experience. My professional activity focuses on transport engineering and infrastructure, with particular expertise in composite materials, structural mechanics, and automotive engineering. I have a strong profile oriented towards technology transfer, having participated in 150 industrial projects and contracts, more than 90 of which I led as Principal Investigator (PI). This experience reflects extensive expertise in leading and managing R&D&I projects in collaboration with industry. My leadership experience also extends to university–industry collaboration and institutional management. I served as Director of the AITIIP Chair for 5 years and of the Valeo Thermal Chair for a decade, and I coordinated the Transport Engineering and Infrastructure area for 20 years. In the field of researcher training and academic supervision, I have supervised four PhD theses and more than 150 final-year projects, including master's theses (TFMs), bachelor's theses (TFGs), and final degree projects (PFCs).I have authored 45 articles published in high-impact journals indexed in Journal Citation Reports (JCR), with a significant presence in first-quartile (Q1) journals in categories including materials science, characterization and testing, and mechanical engineering.
