Smart machine-machine (M2M) interactions, such as those enabled by the Internet of Things (IoT), have enabled people and machines to communicate and make decisions together. Furthermore, these systems have become increasingly important in the commercial and industrial sectors over the previous two decades. The Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) is a smart system comprising engineering equipment which can connect to one another to improve manufacturing operations. This task would become more complicated if the amount of energy used by the IIoT ecosystems, as well as the amount of network traffic they generate, increased dramatically. Consequently, decision-making processes during communication are essential for autonomous interaction in critical IoT infrastructure. Smart factories employ communication technology to track and gather information in real-time to enhance the output, effectiveness, and predictability while lowering the overall cost of vital operations. In this context, Industry 4.0 not only limits to addresses the issues of integrating technologies, but it also focuses on data collection, dissemination, utilization, and organization and also improves the delivery of the solution or services quicker with more sustainability. This study intends to create an NF-based communication system for IIoT platforms to leverage those benefits. The proposed model includes smart decision-making procedures to deal with communication issues. Compared with the many methods already in use, the suggested mechanism’s functional viability in the automated system is found to be optimal. Outcomes from simulations reveal that the suggested method has improved the accuracy and communication reliability of the IIoT platforms in comparison with the previous methods. Aside from these, the suggested model keeps the throughput of the local automation unit at 96.03% and the throughput of the production hall at 95.58% on average while maintaining the lowest average PLR of about 26.48% across different data rates.

Today’s world faces a serious public health problem with cancer. One type of cancer that begins in the breast and spreads to other body areas is breast cancer (BC). Breast cancer is one of the most prevalent cancers that claim the lives of women. It is also becoming clearer that most cases of breast cancer are already advanced when they are brought to the doctor’s attention by the patient. The patient may have the evident lesion removed, but the seeds have reached an advanced stage of development or the body’s ability to resist them has weakened considerably, rendering them ineffective. Although it is still much more common in more developed nations, it is also quickly spreading to less developed countries. The motivation behind this study is to use an ensemble method for the prediction of BC, as an ensemble model aims to automatically manage the strengths and weaknesses of each of its separate models, resulting in the best decision being made overall. The main objective of this paper is to predict and classify breast cancer using Adaboost ensemble techniques. The weighted entropy is computed for the target column. Taking each attribute’s weights results in the weighted entropy. Each class’s likelihood is represented by the weights. The amount of information gained increases with a decrease in entropy. Both individual and homogeneous ensemble classifiers, created by mixing Adaboost with different single classifiers, have been used in this work. In order to deal with the class imbalance issue as well as noise, the synthetic minority over-sampling technique (SMOTE) was used as part of the data mining pre-processing. The suggested approach uses a decision tree (DT) and naive Bayes (NB), with Adaboost ensemble techniques. The experimental findings shown 97.95% accuracy for prediction using the Adaboost-random forest classifier.

Recommender Systems have been widely employed in information systems over the past few decades, making it easier for each user to choose their own products based on their past behaviour. Data mining tasks and visualization tools regularly use clustering techniques in the scientific and commercial arenas. It has been shown that clustering-based methods are effective and scalable to big data sets. The accuracy and coverage of clustering-based recommender systems are, however, somewhat low. In this paper, we suggest an improved multi-view clustering method for the recommendation of items in social networks to overcome these problems. To create better partitions, the artificial Bees colony optimization algorithm (ABC) is first used to improve the initial medoids’ selection. After that, users are clustered iteratively using views of both rating patterns as well as social information using multiview clustering (MVC) (i.e. trust and friendships). Ultimately, a framework is suggested for evaluating the various options. This research study suggests a novel MVC clustering approach using the ABC optimization technique. The proposed ABC-MVC algorithm’s usefulness in terms of enhancing accuracy is demonstrated by experimental findings performed on a real-world dataset and it is observed that it performs better than the pre-existing techniques and baselines.

The smart city traffic management domain is perpetually a crucial sector that requires innovative strategies due to expanding urbanization and vehicle use. In this study, we have introduced a traffic prediction and handling system that utilizes Temporal Convolutional Networks (TCNs) combined with Federated Learning (FL) to deal with urban traffic effectively. This approach leverages the sophisticated functionalities of TCNs to evaluate and estimate traffic trends, such as congested phases, traffic flow, and ideal mobility routes. The system guarantees data privacy and utilizes decentralized information analysis using Federated Learning. In this approach, every point in the intelligent city network, including traffic sensors and cameras, serves to collectively comprehend traffic patterns without disclosing raw data. Using this cooperative method not only improves the model’s ability to forecast outcomes accurately but also enables efficient real-time traffic management, with the ability to adapt to changing conditions. The method has shown significant efficacy in enhancing traffic flow and mitigating congestion. The critical criteria are a 20% drop in average commuting times, a 25% drop in traffic congestion, and a 15% enhancement in emergency response times. These statistics highlight the system’s efficiency in improving urban traffic control by integrating modern technologies.

Prediction of gene‐disease associations has grown in popularity in recent biomedical research. However, positive and unlabeled (PU) issues and limited gene‐disease association data are common concerns with present association prediction algorithms. A gene‐disease association prediction approach based on Katz‐enhanced inductive matrix completion is suggested in light of the abovementioned flaws. Preestimate based on the Katz technique and refined estimation based on the inductive matrix completion approach makes the model. The Katz technique is utilized to preestimate the gene‐disease association on the basis of gene‐disease heterogeneous network to mitigate the effects of association data‐sparse and PU issues. The Katz technique, however, necessarily introduces some noise when predicting gene‐disease connections due to the similarity network’s quality limitations. Therefore, the elastic net regularization approach is utilized to increase the resilience of the conventional inductive matrix completion model. As a result, the prediction effect of gene‐disease connections is increased using robustness and a better inductive matrix completion model. The experimental findings demonstrate that the proposed model has dramatically increased recall and precision compared to widely used gene‐disease association prediction approaches. It can also resolve the typical cold‐start issue in association prediction. The proposed KIMC method may consider integrating more diverse biological data sources in the future and also aid in the effective extraction of the feature data of genes and diseases with higher correlation from this biological data to improve the prediction effect.
