Dr. Panfeng Yao is an Associate Researcher at the State Key Laboratory of Aridland Crop Science, College of Agronomy, Gansu Agricultural University, Lanzhou, China. He graduated from Sichuan Agricultural University in June 2021, majoring in biochemistry and molecular biology, and received a doctorate in science. During his doctoral period, he was jointly trained at the University of Ghent/Flanders Institute of Biotechnology (VIB-Ugent Center for Plant System Biology) in Belgium for 2 years. Currently, he is mainly engaged in research on the excavation of potato stress resistance-related genes and their regulatory mechanisms, and the introduction and evaluation of potato germplasm resources.
