Olive EM Lee is a data scientist and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Science. She obtained her Ph.D. at Kyungpook National University in South Korea, She also obtained her B.A. in Mathematics and earned a master’s degree in Management Science from the University of Waterloo in Canada. Prior to her current academic research, Olive worked as a data scientist at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston, USA. While in Boston, she also founded several medical and scientific startups. Olive's research primarily focuses on utilizing mathmetical modeling, machine learning and deep learning techniques to gain a better understanding of medical data. Her particular research interests lie in investigating the complex interplay between the human immune system, the microbiome, and human cancers.
