Dongran Song is an associate professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, School of Automation, Central South University. He received his bachelor’s degree in automation and his master’s degree and Ph.D. in control science and engineering at Central South University in 2006, 2009, and 2016, respectively. He is also a Life Member of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence. His main research areas include control and optimization technology for wind power generation systems (comprehensive optimization of single machine/wind farm/cluster power generation and load performance, wake modeling and regulation, integrated design of floating wind power systems, etc.), application of artificial intelligence in new energy systems such as wind/solar/storage, and optimization of integrated energy systems and medium and low voltage distribution networks.
