Dr. Yaish's research aims to study the mechanisms involved in plants' abiotic stresses, such as salinity and drought, using OMICs and reverse genetic approaches. In addition, he is exploring the relationship between the plants' microbiota and abiotic stress tolerance and trying to produce biofertilizers based on plant growth-promoting bacteria (PGPB). Stanford University, USA, has listed him in the top 2% of most cited scientists worldwide for the last few years.
