Zongxu Pan received a B.Eng. degree in electronic and information engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 2010, and a Ph.D. degree in information and communication engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2015. He is currently an Associate Professor with Aerospace Information Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China. He has authored or coauthored over 40 papers in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. He serves as a reviewer of more than 20 journals. His current research interests focus on deep learning in remote sensing applications, such as target detection and recognition in optical remote sensing and synthetic aperture radar images, and restoration and super-resolution reconstruction of remote sensing images.
