Rene Palomar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture at the University of Alcala since 2019. Her research interests include advanced building materials, physical‐mechanical characterization of cement‐based building materials, and sustainable materials, and building technologies for architectural applications and refurbishment. She worked in eight projects as a part of research group headed by Prof. Barluenga. She has participated in international and national conferences and co‐authored 18 papers in indexed journals.
