Prof. Giorgia Pastorin is an Associate Professor at the Department of Pharmacy at the National University of Singapore. She earned her Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Trieste, Italy in 2004. Her research focuses on innovative drug delivery strategies, including engineered nanovesicles and bio-hybrid systems. She is also involved in the development of targeted nanomedicines for biomedical applications, such as platinum-based pro-drugs combined with nanocarriers for cancer treatment. Additionally, her work includes topical and transdermal delivery systems for both pharmaceutical and cosmetic actives.
