Abdülhakim Zeybek, Ph.D. Dr. Abdülhakim Zeybek joins Mus Alparslan University, and he has been an assistant professor in the Department of Architecture in the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture since 2018. Before coming to Mus, he received his B.A. in Civil Engineering from Pamukkale University, Turkey. He then moved to the United Kingdom, where he completed his MSc at Imperial College London and Ph.D. at Cambridge University. For his Ph.D., he examined the feasibility of the induced partial saturation in mitigating liquefaction effects beneath shallow foundations using dynamic centrifuge tests. His primary research interests are in the field of soil dynamics and geotechnical earthquake engineering. Specifically, he is interested in the experimental and numerical investigation of the liquefaction behavior of partially saturated soils. He is the author of several technical papers on this topic.
