He holds a degree in agricultural engineering from the Federal University of Viçosa (2002) and a master's degree in plant production from the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (2017). He holds a PhD in water resources from the Department of Agricultural Engineering at the Federal University of Viçosa (2019). He has experience in the areas of irrigation, hydraulics, drainage, and geostatistics. He teaches classes at the Postgraduate and Undergraduate level in the Forestry Engineering and Agronomy department at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul. He is a master's and doctoral advisor.
