Dr. Walasinee Sakcamduang (Moonarmart) graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Kasetsart University, in 1994. She started her career as a small animal and equine veterinarian before she joined the Faculty of Veterinary Science, Mahidol University, in 2000. She received PhD from the Royal Veterinary College, University of London in 2008. She was awarded Diplomates from Asian College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (DAiCVIM) in 2019 and Thai Board of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. Her research interests lie in cardiovascular medicine, infectious diseases, antimicrobial usage, antimicrobial resistance, epidemiology, and one health with 30 international publications in peer-reviewed journals. She is currently Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Science, Mahidol University and Chair of Thailand One Health University Network, and Chair of South East Asia One Health University Network.
