With the rapid development of the Internet of Things (IoT)-based near-Earth remote sensing technology, the problem of network intrusion for near-Earth remote sensing systems has become more complex and large-scale. Therefore, seeking an intelligent, automated, and robust network intrusion detection method is essential. Many researchers have researched network intrusion detection methods, such as traditional feature-based and machine learning methods. In recent years, network intrusion detection methods based on graph neural networks (GNNs) have been proposed. However, there are still some practical issues with these methods. For example, they have not taken into consideration the characteristics of near-Earth remote sensing systems, the state of the nodes, and the temporal features. Therefore, this article analyzes the factors of existing near-Earth remote sensing systems and proposes a spatio-temporal graph attention network (N-STGAT) that considers the state of nodes and applies them to the network intrusion detection of near-Earth remote sensing systems. Finally, the proposed method in this article is validated using the latest flow-based datasets NF-BoT-IoT-v2 and NF-ToN-IoT-v2. The results demonstrate that the binary classification accuracy for network intrusion detection exceeds 99%, while the multi-classification accuracy exceeds 93%. These findings provide substantial evidence that the proposed method outperforms existing intrusion detection techniques.

Quick and accurate structural damage detection is essential for maintaining the safety and integrity of infrastructure, especially following natural disasters. Traditional methods of damage assessment, which rely on manual inspections, can be labor-intensive and subject to human error. This paper introduces a hybrid deep learning model that combines the capabilities of ResNet50 and GoogLeNet, further enhanced by a convolutional block attention module (CBAM), proposed to improve both the accuracy and performance in detecting structural damage. For training purposes, a diverse dataset of images depicting both structural damage cases and undamaged cases was used. To further enhance the robustness, data augmentation techniques were also employed. In this research, precision, recall, F1-score, and accuracy were employed to evaluate the effectiveness of the introduced hybrid deep learning model. Our findings indicate that the hybrid deep neural network introduced in this study significantly outperformed standalone architectures such as ResNet50 and GoogLeNet, making it a highly effective solution for applications in disaster response and infrastructure maintenance.

With the development of neuromorphic computing, more and more attention has been paid to a brain-inspired spiking neural network (SNN) because of its ultralow energy consumption and high-performance spatiotemporal information processing. Due to the discontinuity of the spiking neuronal activation function, it is still a difficult problem to train brain-inspired deep SNN directly, so SNN has not yet shown performance comparable to that of an artificial neural network. For this reason, the spike-based approximate backpropagation (SABP) algorithm and a general brain-inspired SNN framework are proposed in this paper. The combination of the two can be used for end-to-end direct training of brain-inspired deep SNN. Experiments show that compared with other spike-based methods of directly training SNN, the classification accuracy of this method is close to the best results on MNIST and CIFAR-10 datasets and achieves the best classification accuracy on sonar image target classification (SITC) of small sample datasets. Further analysis shows that compared with artificial neural networks, our brain-inspired SNN has great advantages in computational complexity and energy consumption in sonar target classification.

The evaluation of the fault diagnosis capability of a data center network (DCN) is important research in measuring network reliability. The g-extra diagnosability is defined under the condition that every component except the fault vertex set contains at least g+1 vertices. The t/k diagnosis strategy is that the number of fault nodes does not exceed t, and all fault nodes can be isolated into a set containing up to k fault-free nodes. As an important data center network, BCube Connected Crossbars (BCCC) has many excellent properties that have been widely studied. In this paper, we first determine that the g-extra connectivity of BCn,k for 0≤g≤n−1. Based on this, we establish the g-extra conditional diagnosability of BCn,k under the MM* model for 1≤g≤n−1. Next, based on the conclusion of the largest connected component in g-extra connectivity, we prove that the t/k-diagnosability of BCn,k under the MM* model for 1≤k≤n−1. Finally, we present a t/k diagnosis algorithm on BCCC under the MM* model. The algorithm can correctly identify all nodes at most k nodes undiagnosed. So far, t/k-diagnosability and diagnosis algorithms for most networks in the MM* model have not been studied.

Addressing the significant challenge of speech enhancement in ultra-low-Signal-to-Noise-Ratio (SNR) scenarios for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) voice communication, particularly under edge deployment constraints, this study proposes the Edge-Deployed Band-Split Rotary Position Encoding Transformer (Edge-BS-RoFormer), a novel, lightweight band-split rotary position encoding transformer. While existing deep learning methods face limitations in dynamic UAV noise suppression under such constraints, including insufficient harmonic modeling and high computational complexity, the proposed Edge-BS-RoFormer distinctively synergizes a band-split strategy for fine-grained spectral processing, a dual-dimension Rotary Position Encoding (RoPE) mechanism for superior joint time–frequency modeling, and FlashAttention to optimize computational efficiency, pivotal for its lightweight nature and robust ultra-low-SNR performance. Experiments on our self-constructed DroneNoise-LibriMix (DN-LM) dataset demonstrate Edge-BS-RoFormer’s superiority. Under a −15 dB SNR, it achieves Scale-Invariant Signal-to-Distortion Ratio (SI-SDR) improvements of 2.2 dB over Deep Complex U-Net (DCUNet), 25.0 dB over the Dual-Path Transformer Network (DPTNet), and 2.3 dB over HTDemucs. Correspondingly, the Perceptual Evaluation of Speech Quality (PESQ) is enhanced by 0.11, 0.18, and 0.15, respectively. Crucially, its efficacy for edge deployment is substantiated by a minimal model storage of 8.534 MB, 11.617 GFLOPs (an 89.6% reduction vs. DCUNet), a runtime memory footprint of under 500MB, a Real-Time Factor (RTF) of 0.325 (latency: 330.830 ms), and a power consumption of 6.536 W on an NVIDIA Jetson AGX Xavier, fulfilling real-time processing demands. This study delivers a validated lightweight solution, exemplified by its minimal computational overhead and real-time edge inference capability, for effective speech enhancement in complex UAV acoustic scenarios, including dynamic noise conditions. Furthermore, the open-sourced dataset and model contribute to advancing research and establishing standardized evaluation frameworks in this domain.
