Sara Reis has a master’s in Biotechnology Engineering (Instituto Politécnico de Bragança, 2023). She is currently a PhD candidate in Biosystems Science and Technology at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (IPB) and a researcher at the IPB, working within the SANCAST project. Her research focuses on plant pathology and forest ecophysiology, integrating monitoring tools and sustainable agriculture to develop innovative strategies for managing chestnut rot. She has authored several scientific publications and supervised undergraduate students.
