Lisa Siekmann took the state exam in veterinary medicine from the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover in 2015. She investigated the meat quality of dual-purpose chickens at Georg-August-University Göttingen and finished her doctoral thesis (vet.med.) in 2019. She is now a scientific researcher at the Institute of Food Quality and Food Safety of the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover. Her lectures, courses and projects are in the field of meat quality, sensory characteristics, decontamination and preservation methods.
