Prof. Dr. Mariano Andrés is a professor of medicine (Rheumatology) at the Department of Clinical Medicine, Miguel Hernández University of Elche. He is also a Rheumatology Specialist Physician at the Dr. Balmis General University Hospital in Alicante, Spain. He received his Ph.D. in Clinical Research at Miguel Hernández University of Elche in 2016. He is a member of the Spanish Society of Rheumatology, the European Crystal Network, and the G-CAN group. His research interests include gout, calcium pyrophosphate crystal disease, synovial fluid analysis, and rheumatic disease-related comorbidities.
