Prof. Kan Yan is an Associate Professor at the School of Biological and Pharmaceutical Engineering, Lanzhou Jiaotong University, Lanzhou, China. He graduated from Lanzhou University with a bachelor's degree in 2007, where he received a doctorate in science in 2015. He entered Lanzhou Jiaotong University in December 2015. In 2016, he went to Tianjin University for further study. Currently, he mainly focuses on research areas: horticultural plant research and plant metabolism research. As the main implementer, he won the "Second Prize in the Lanzhou Science and Technology Progress Award (2013)" and hosted 2 Gansu Provincial Department of Science and Technology planned projects, and 1 Lanzhou innovative talent project (400,000 yuan).
