Xiangchen Meng received an M.Sc. in photogrammetry and remote sensing from the Shandong University of Science and Technology in 2016 and a Ph.D. in cartography and geographic information systems from Beijing Normal University in 2020. He is employed as a lecturer at the School of Geography and Tourism, Qufu Normal University, Rizhao, China. His research interests mainly include land surface temperature/emissivity, heat waves, and urban heat islands.
