Yong-Gil Lee is a professor at Inha University, where he teaches energy economics and environmental economics. He has published more than 25 papers in the international journals such as Energy Economics, Energy Policy, Energy, Scientometrics, Technovation, Journal of Engineering and Technology Management, and Sustainability. He is researching ecological theology and trying to integrate theological approach with his fields of interest: energy, environment and technological innovation. He received a Master of Theological Studies (MTS) degree focused on Christian Spirituality from the Jesuit School of Theology of Santa Clara University (Berkeley, CA) in 2022. He has published a paper in Korean entitled as "Energy Resources from the Perspective of Bible and Christian Theology" in the journal, Logos Management Review. He is a Catholic and serves the parish in Incheon diocese as a layperson.
