Dr. Stephen Howard Abrams

Stephen Abrams is a general dental practitioner with over 33 years of clinical experience. Upon graduation from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry in 1980 he established a group practice in Toronto with Dr. Warren Hellen, which has grown to involve general dentists and dental specialists. In 2006, Dr. Abrams founded Quantum Dental Technologies with Professor Mandelis and The Canary System in now on market in Canada, EU and the USA. He is a member of IADR (International Association for Dental Research) & senior member of the European Organization for Caries Research (ORCA). Dr. Abrams has published over 100 articles in various international publications on topics ranging from early caries detection, prevention, removable dentures and restorative dentistry.. Dr. Abrams was awarded the Barnabus Day Award from the Ontario Dental Association for 20 years of distinguished service to the dental profession. He is one of the founding board members of ACCERTA Claim Corporation.He has honorary fellowships in a number of dental societies. He has been very active in the Ontario Dental Association. Dr. Abrams has chaired their Dental Benefits Committee for the last 13 years, negotiating with the provincial government & local municipalities across Ontario on various government sponsored dental programs.
