Prof. Petros Rafailidis is an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine-Infectious Diseases at the Democritus University of Thrace, Greece. He has worked for the well-being of patients with general internal medicine diseases and infectious diseases for many years in diverse geographical locations (Greece, the United Kingdom, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia). He holds Specialty Certificates from the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians (UK) in Infectious Diseases, Acute Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Endocrinology-Diabetes and Rheumatology; a permanent ECFMG Certificate (USA); and Greek board certifications in Internal Medicine and Intensive Medicine. He also teaches medical students, students of dentistry, nursing students, residents of internal medicine, and research fellows, as well as providing lectures to undergraduate and postgraduate medical students and residents and supervising various MScs.
