Zheng Wenxin, born in February 1972, is a male of Han ethnicity with a postgraduate degree. Currently, he holds the positions of Director at the Institute of Livestock Quality Standards and Director of the Xinjiang Sheep Breeding and Wool, Cashmere Quality Inspection Center at Xinjiang Academy of Animal Science, where he serves as a Researcher. Zheng Wenxin previously served as the President of Xinjiang Academy of Animal Science. In 2023, he assumed the role of Director at the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Bureau. He is appointed as a specially invited agricultural standardization lecturer by the National Standardization Management Committee and a committee member of the National Livestock Industry Standardization Management Committee.Zheng Wenxin was honored with the 10th Xinjiang Youth May Fourth Medal in 2011. In June 2022, he was selected as a candidate for the position of Chief Scientist in the modern agricultural industry technology system, highlighting his significant role in promoting the continuous development of agricultural science and technology.
