Cheng-an Tao received his bachelor’s degree (2006) and PhD (2011) from the Department of Chemistry at Tsinghua University. Currently, he is a professor at the College of Science at the National University of Defense Technology (NUDT). His research interests focus on porous materials and their applications in optical, electrical, and protective systems and devices—including optical films, sensors, electrochromic films, and protective films—against toxic chemicals.
