Shaohua Jiang was born in Jiangxi, China, in 1983. Shaohua Jiang received his PhD degree in 2014 from the Bayreuth University, Germany. Then he worked in Neue Materialien Baureuth GmbH and TransMIT GmbH as a scientific co-worker. In 2017, he became a Distinguished Professor of Jiangsu Province and worked as a full professor in the College of Materials Science and Engineering at Nanjing Forestry University. Up to now, he has published more than 100 papers, which received more than 4000 citations. His research mainly focuses on energy storage materials, wood-derived functional materials, ultralight aerogels/sponges and electrospun fibrous materials.
