Alyona Bannikova graduated with a master’s degree from the Kazan State Academy of Veterinary Medicine (Kazan, Russia) in 2021. Alyona is now working as a research engineer in the Laboratory of Neuronal and Neuroendocrine Regulations, Institute of Developmental Biology of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Moscow, Russia). Alyona's research interests include the mechanisms of neurodegeneration, neuroplasticity, and retrograde degeneration.
