ZORAN BOSNIĆ received his B.Sc, M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in 2001, 2003, and 2007 from the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Computer and Information Science, Slovenia. Currently, he is employed as a full professor at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Computer and Information Science, Slovenia. His primary research area is artificial intelligence (AI), particularly machine learning and data mining. In his work, he combines advanced statistical methods with useful application areas such as mining from data streams, recommender systems, user behavior profiling, medicine, functional programming, e-learning systems, and computer communications. Prof. Bosnić is a (co)author of about 50 papers in SCI journals and 25 papers on scientific conferences. His awards include the golden plaque for outstanding achievements in research, pedagogical, or artistic work at the University of Ljubljana (in 2019) and the Honorary diploma for outstanding pedagogical and research achievements from the University of Ljubljana (2012).
