Maged F. Bekheet obtained his Ph.D. in material science and engineering with distinction from Technische Universität Darmstadt (Germany) in 2014. Since 2014, he has worked as a lecturer and research group leader at the Chair of Advanced Ceramic Materials at Technische Universität Berlin (Germany). His current research interest is focused on the design, synthesis, and ex situ and in situ/in operando characterization of different functional material classes for catalysis and membranes, gas sensing, energy, and environmental applications.
