Prof. Eskina is a founder, CEO and leading refractive surgeon of the Eye Clinic «Sphere» established as a private , but combined with academic and educational practice . Erika N Eskina was the first in Moscow in between private clinics to introduce SmartPulse, PresbyMAX and ReLEx SMILE . Prof. Eskina is the only russian reference surgeon for Schwind, Zeiss and consultant for Thea. Concurrently with clinic management, Erika N Eskina holds professorship at the Academy of Postgraduate Education of FSBF FRCC of the FMBA of Russia and carries out numerious scientific activities. She was first in Russia to complete the dissertation within laser vision correction topic on evaluation and prediction of the results of photorefractive keratectomy. Professor Eskina has improved methods of glaucoma treatment and astigmatism correction and has presented over 180 scientific publications, as well as co-authored 2 monographs and 4 guidelines for ophthalmologists on the optical eye dysfunctions
