Modern control methods are suitable for increasing production capabilities of industrial enterprises by employing information technologies, which are often used for modernization of industrial processes without the need of acquiring new equipment. Therefore, automation of the industrial lines is one of the most important directions of the technological progress, as it leads to improvement and modernization of industrial processes. The technological process of tellurium production includes a number of stages, which require automatic regulation of many parameters with a high degree of precision. In this work, we analyze and propose a unified concept of application of modern automation techniques that can be used to build a three-level hieratical control system intended for improving the quality of product.
Predicting Local Area Network (LAN) equipment failure is of utmost importance to ensure the uninterrupted operation of modern communication networks. This study explores the use of machine learning algorithms to enhance the accuracy of equipment failure prediction in LAN environments. Using these algorithms to enhance LAN failure predictions involves collecting and analyzing network data, such as packet loss rates and latency, to identify patterns and anomalies. These algorithms can then predict potential LAN failures by recognizing early warning signs and deviations from normal network behavior. By leveraging machine learning, network administrators can proactively address issues, reduce downtime, and improve overall network reliability. In our study, two powerful machine learning algorithms—decision tree and support vector machine (SVM)—are used. To evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed models, a comprehensive dataset comprising various LAN equipment parameters and corresponding failure instances is utilized. The dataset is pre-processed to handle missing values and normalize features, ensuring the algorithms’ optimal performance. Performance metrics, such as accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score, are employed to assess the predictive capabilities of the models. The excremental results of our study lead to more reliable and stable network operations by allowing early detection of potential issues and preventive maintenance. This leads to reduced downtime, improved network performance, and enhanced overall user satisfaction. They demonstrate the efficacy of both decision tree and SVM algorithms in accurately predicting LAN equipment failure.

While processing polymetallic ores at the non-ferrous metallurgy problems arises connecting with the excellence of production and the efficient applying the technological devices-firing furnace and crusher machine. In earlier time, similar questions were solved due to the big practice experiences and using a mathematical modeling method. The mathematical model for optimizing those operating mode is a very complex and hard to calculation. Performing computations is needed too much time and many resources. Because the control of the agglomeration furnaces and other machines are including complex multiparameter processes. The method of the math modeling for optimization the operating mode to the firing furnace is replaced with modeling based on the neural network that is here a new method. The results obtained have shown that proposed methods based on the neural network modeling of metallurgical processes allow determining more accurate and adequate results of calculations than mathematical modeling by the traditional program. The use of new approaches for modeling the technological processes at the non-ferrous metallurgy gives opportunity to enhance an effectiveness of production excellence and to enhance an efficient applying the heat-energy equipment while a firing the sulfide polymetallic ores of non-ferrous metallurgy

This article provides a detailed analysis of data encryption mechanisms for removable storage devices in the Android operating system. Two main information protection technologies are examined: file-based encryption when using an SD card as portable storage and full-disk encryption when using a memory card as an extension of the device's internal storage (Adoptable Storage). The technical implementation features of each method are investigated, including the encryption algorithms used, the structure of encrypted data, and key storage mechanisms. The research was conducted using Sony Xperia XZ and Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus devices, employing tools for working with file systems and encryption based on Linux and Android. The analysis has established that full-disk encryption is utilized the dm-crypt kernel module in plain mode with AES-256-CBC-ESSIV:SHA256 cipher. The partition encryption key is stored in the device's internal memory. File-based encryption employs the eCryptFS kernel module. The file structure includes information about the original file size, format marker, flags, number of extents, their size, and the encryption key. Comparative analysis has shown that Adoptable Storage mode provides more comprehensive data protection through full-disk encryption, while Portable Storage mode with file-based encryption offers greater flexibility in use but may be less secure due to the possibility of analyzing the file system structure and file metadata. Research has revealed the implementation of encryption mechanisms depends on the device manufacturer and Android operating system version. The research findings have practical significance for understanding the level of data protection using different modes of removable storage operation in the Android system and are useful for both developers and information security specialists, as well as ordinary users.

The object of the research is the application of deep learning algorithms using an improved mathematical lossless image compression method for recognizing and identifying dead trees in aerospace images. The main problem that has been solved is the archiving of images due to their large volume on disk and the possibility of their further processing by deep learning methods such as convolutional and capsule neural networks, which have shown high efficiency and accuracy in image recognition and classification tasks using the proposed new image compression method. The article presents a comparative analysis of the performance of three YOLO (You Only Look Once) models with different types of architectures, such as YOLOv5, YOLOv7 and YOLOv8, to assess the effectiveness of their work for the task of recognizing aerospace tree images obtained from satellites, drones, and aircrafts. Comprehensive analysis of YOLO models presents that model YOLO v8 turned out to be most effective with a positive accuracy of 88.2 %, a recall of 77.4 %, and a mAP50 score of 87.2 %. Moreover, the average detection time was only 0.052 seconds for each image, even though the model size remains very small – 21.5 MB. These results suggest a much better usage of time and precise identification of dead trees, and classified targets with high efficiency. From the research, there is significant prospects of global forest management especially on forest reduction and protection of ecosystems through accurate assessment on the health of forestry. The proposed approach is universal and can be used in real life conditions, providing a good compromise of the speed, accuracy and resources required for forest monitoring and management
