With a global focus on environmental sustainability, hotels worldwide are actively transitioning their services from conventional to eco-friendly practices. This study aims to comprehensively understand the factors that contribute to visitors’ satisfaction in eco-friendly hotels and how this satisfaction influences customers’ future reactions towards such environmentally conscious establishments. Employing the Stimulus-Organism-Response theory, this study collected data from 277 respondents using a robust quantitative research strategy. A combined approach of Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) and Fuzzy-Set Qualitative Comparative Analysis (fsQCA) was employed, to uncover deep insights into visitors’ satisfaction and their reactions towards eco-friendly hotels. The PLS-SEM results reveal significant associations between customers’ satisfaction towards eco-friendly hotel services and service quality, green practices, perceived value, and environmental sensitivity. Moreover, this study highlights a positive correlation between satisfaction and crucial outcomes like revisit intention (RVI), willingness to pay a premium (WTPP), and word-of-mouth intention (WOMI). Complementing these findings, the fsQCA analysis uncovers intricate causal relationships among antecedents that influence customer satisfaction in eco-friendly hotels. By offering critical marketing insights, this study provides guidance for hotels, the tourism industry, and policymakers on attracting customers to eco-friendly hotels, to meet the increasing demands for environmental sustainability.
In developing countries, particularly South Asia, there is scarce research on corporate governance and sustainability reporting disclosure. This study considers several insightful theories, including Stakeholder Theory, Agency Theory, and the TOE Framework, to understand the relationships and drivers of sustainability reporting. The study examines Indonesian Islamic corporates using data from the ISSI (Indonesia Shariah Stock Index). We gathered annual reports and sustainability reports from the ISSI database for the year 2019. The study investigates how human governance (HG), Islamic corporate governance (ICG), and information technology usage (ITU) are related to sustainability reporting disclosure (SR). The findings showed that the sustainability reporting disclosure was significantly influenced by human governance and Islamic corporate governance with firm size and leverage. Furthermore, the research showed that profitability was not significantly related to sustainability reporting disclosure, that Islamic corporate governance had a significant negative influence on SR, and that IT usage was only significant when human governance was not present. Finally, the results showed that human governance is the main driver of sustainability reporting disclosure. Therefore, we conclude that human governance is the best predictor for sustainability reporting disclosure.
The technology innovation makes it easy for us to connect to various services. Banking transactions that previously could only be served only at Branch Offices, ATMs (Automatic Teller Machines) and EDC (Electronic Data Capture), now they can be accessed online. Balance information, fund transfers, credit purchases, PLN tokens, payment of PAM and BPJS bills, all can be done through Mobile Banking application from smartphones. This study aims to find out how QR Code on Mobile Banking provides convenience in making payment transactions and how it can be used safely. The research was conducted through literature study, observation, and distribution of questionnaires to 30 respondents to identify the system acceptance. Payment Model QR Code on Mobile Banking can be widely used as an alternative of cash payment through a smartphone. The developed system does not only for merchant payment but can be used for person to person payment. The result of this research is a prototype for QR Code Payment on OCBC NISP Mobile Banking which can be used as an alternative payment system and integrated with fund source account without the need to top up the transfer.
It is essential to conduct research on low-carbon behaviour in order to address global climate change and promote sustainable development. This study conducts a thorough examination of a bibliometric analysis of the existing literature in this field. We analysed 129 papers from the Web of Science Core Collection database to conduct a study on the concept of “low-carbon behaviour”. Review articles, proceedings papers, and editorial materials were all excluded. This investigation examines a diverse array of research environment factors, including the most highly ranked publications, publication trends, significant publishers, and patterns in citations and publications over time. The primary institutional contributors in the discipline and the most influential works worldwide are also mentioned. The application of advanced visualisation techniques, such as wordcloud representations, the spatial distribution of research output, and co-occurrence and overlay networks, is employed to generate maps of keyword relationships and collaboration networks using Bibliometrix Stable Version, VOSviewer 1.6.20, and Scimago Graphica Beta 1.0.45. This multi-modal methodology enables a comprehensive investigation of significant research issues and emerging directions in low-carbon behavioural studies. This study contributes to the ongoing endeavours to promote sustainable development and mitigate climate change by conducting a comprehensive evaluation of the current state of research and establishing a robust framework for future investigations into low-carbon behavioural patterns and behaviours.
The purpose of this research is to investigate the influence of internal control, leadership style, and teamwork on the success of the information technology projects. The method of data collection is done by studying literature, questionnaires, interviews, and direct field observations. The research methodology used is quantitative method with the primary and secondary data source. Questionnaires were distributed to the project team, and 110 responses of employees at AIT Co. were received. Data were analyzed using IBM SPSS. Findings showed that internal control and teamwork have a significant influence on the success of the information technology projects, but leadership style not significant. It was found that internal control, leadership style, and teamwork simultaneously have a significant and positive influence on the information technology projects success by 80%. The implication of this study is to increase successful project rate, the role of internal control is important to monitor from the earliest stage until project finished, and company needs to arrange program such as watch together, eat together or outing program. For future research is to expand the scope of the study, such as increasing the number of companies involved, with variations in other variables and can add control and moderating variables.
