Dr. Anna Perrone

Anna Myriam Perrone carries out her research in the field of oncological gynecology, in particular in the prevention and treatment of female genital tumors (in the ovary, uterus, vagina, vulva and vagina). She conducts numerous studies concerning the application of chemotherapy associated with surgery (HIPEC and PIPAC) and the use of electrochemotherapy in cancer of the vulva. She is also involved in the study of new biomarkers (in particular miRNA) for the diagnosis and prognosis of gynecological tumors and the application of artificial intelligence to tumors of the female genital sphere. She is the author of numerous research protocols and a winner of ministerial and local calls. She is engaged in national and international research projects, and collaborates with various Italian and European institutes. She is the author of numerous international publications in books and peer-reviewed journals.
