Prof. Yasuhito Tanaka received his Ph.D. in Orthopedics from Nara Medical University in 1984. Today, he is a professor and the Chair of Orthopedic Surgery at Nara Medical University. He is a Full Member of the European Foot and Ankle Society, a Corresponding Member of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society, and the Asian Representative Director of the International Federation of Foot and Ankle Surgery (IFFAS). His research interests include hemophilic arthropathy, pediatric orthopedics, rheumatology, regenerative medicine, sports medicine, and foot and ankle surgery.
