Zhang Gang, born in June 1984 in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, is an associate professor and master's supervisor. He obtained bachelor's, master's, and doctor's degrees from Xi'an University of technology. He won the bronze award in Shaanxi science and technology workers innovation and entrepreneurship competition; the first prize and the second prize for the scientific and technological progress of the State Grid Gansu Electric Power Company; and the title of young science and technology star of Xi'an University of technology in 2019. He has obtained five invention patents, twelve software copyrights, and has published one monograph. He has published nearly 40 academic papers, of which more than 10 were included in the three major databases. He has presided over seven vertical projects of various types, with a total of CNY 926,000 in funding, including one youth project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China; one special topic of the national key research and development plan; one key research and development plan of Shaanxi Province; one China Postdoctoral fund; and one item at the Department and bureau level. He has presided over eleven horizontal projects, with a total of CNY 1.91 million in funding. He is mainly engaged in the research of new energy consumption and dispatching, the power market, and power system energy conservation.
