My research focuses on improving species management, adaptation, and resilience to climate change and invasive organisms, through phenotypic and genetic analyses under both abiotic and biotic stress. I have particular expertise in the genetic improvement of Fagaceae species, with pioneering work on heat stress in Mediterranean chestnut trees.
