Dr Maglione is a pediatrician with consolidated experience in the management of pediatric diseases, mainly chronic and acute respiratory conditions and particular interest in clinical research, as shown by his relevant scientific production. His main fields of interest are represented by chronic suppurative lung disease, non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis, and pediatric asthma. Since 2019, and during the whole COVID-19 pandemic, he has worked in the largest pediatric tertiary care center of Southern Italy, facing the challenges deriving form this new pathogen and focusing his research interest particularly on the most severe complication of SARS-CoV-2 in children, namely the multisystem inflammatory syndrome, with several publications in the field.
