Dr Marija Vuksanovic (maiden name Dimitrijević) is Principal Research Fellow at the Department of Chemical Dynamics and Permanent Education, "VINČA" Institute of Nuclear Sciences—National Institute of the Republic of Serbia, University of Belgrade. She completed her PhD studies in Engineering of materials at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy in Belgrade. She has published 95 papers in various journals, and she has 1 registered international patent and 2 domestic patents, as well as 7 gold medals at international innovation exhibitions. She participated in the realization of several graduate, final, master's and doctoral theses at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy in Belgrade. She was engaged in teaching (on two courses: one on doctoral and one on undergraduate studies) at TMF. Her research topics mainly include composite materials, mechanical properties, image analysis, waste materials
