Information

I am an Assistant Professor at the Embedded Vision Systems Group, Department of Automatic Control and Robotics, AGH University of Science and Technology Krakow, Poland. My research is focused on embedded vision systems implemented in FPGA and System on Chip FPGA devices (using hardware/software co-design). I am interested in advanced video surveillance systems (background modelling, foreground object segmentation, object recognition and tracking), as well as advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), vision systems used in intelligent transportation systems (ITS), vision systems for autonomous vehicles (self-driving cars and drones), event cameras and neuromorphic computing. I am an IEEE Senior Member, Steering Committee Member of the DASIP conference and TCP member of the ARC and DSD conferences, as well as assistant editor in the Microprocessors and Microsystems JCR journal. I am the author and co-author of over 90 scientific papers.
