Havagiray Chitme currently works as a professor of Pharmacology and heads the IPR Cell at the University. His areas of research interest include the clinical side of pharmacology, especially cancer and metabolic syndrome. He believes in building teams to find solutions to real-life problems through a multidisciplinary research approach. He believes that the research outcome must benefit society and classroom students. He has seven applied research projects funded by international funding agencies.
