Associate Professor Wu Shihua, Ph.D. in 2004 from Zhejiang University, majoring in organic chemistry. He visited in 2011 the Department of Cancer Biology, City of Hope National Medical Centers, USA. He is mainly engaged in the chemical separation and functional analysis of natural products, dedicated to the discovery, separation and purification, structure identification, biosynthesis, mechanism of action, and targeted applications of important anti-cancer natural products at the College of Life Sciences, Zhejiang University, since 2004. He also establishes and uses plant and microbial bioreactors to synthesize and develop natural medicines with significant commercial value.
