Catherine Drosou is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Laboratory of Physical Chemistry & Chemical Processes (PCCP Laboratory), School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering, Technical University of Crete, Greece. She holds a PhD from the Technical University of Crete, with an academic background in environmental engineering. Her research focuses on the design and physicochemical characterization of nanostructured catalytic materials for sustainable energy and environmental applications, including CO₂ methanation, dry reforming of methane, and catalytic oxidation processes. Her work emphasizes catalyst stability, sintering behavior, metal–support interactions, and CO₂ valorization technologies. She has extensive experience with advanced characterization techniques such as BET, XRD, H₂-TPR, H₂-chemisorption, FTIR, and gas chromatography. Dr. Drosou has participated in several nationally and EU-funded research projects and has participated in many peer-reviewed publications in international scientific journals.
