Martin S. Weber received his Ph.D. from the Medical School
of the University of Würzburg in 2003. He has been a Managing Senior Physician
at “Geschäftsführender Oberarzt”, University Medical Center since 2018. He has
been appointed the Head of the interdisciplinary “Multiple Sclerosis Center
Göttingen” at University Medical Center since 2017. His research focuses on the
role of antigen-presenting cells and B cells in Multiple Sclerosis and its
experimental models. His primary interest is to elucidate the functional
diversity of different phenotypes of B cells and antigen-presenting cells and
to understand how these findings can be harnessed to accelerate therapeutic
innovation in Multiple Sclerosis.
