Dr. Dariusz Sternik obtained a Master’s degree in 1998 and a PhD in 2007, both from M. Curie-Skłodowska University. Since 1999, he has worked in the Department of Physicochemistry of Solid Surface, Faculty of Chemistry, M. Curie-Skłodowska University. His research interests include the applications of thermal analysis and other methods to studies of liquid–solid interactions, the adsorption properties and total heterogeneity of adsorbents, and the adsorption of contaminations from aqueous solutions onto natural adsorbent surfaces.
