Jing-Jing Fang is a professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan. She established the Virtual Reality and Multimedia Laboratory in the ME department in 1996. Biomedical engineering, virtual reality applications, professional software development, surgical planning and navigation are her research interests. Her kernel specialties are geometric modelling, object-oriented design and computational geometry. She is a co-founder of two medical device companies in 2014 and 2017 under the coaching of MOST and NCKU. They produced customized surgical devices for complex and difficult surgeries in orthopedics, neurosurgery, oral and maxillofacial surgery, plastic surgery, etc.
