Luciano Zunino holds a permanent research position at CONICET, Argentina. He is working at the Optical Research Center (CIOp) near La Plata. His main research interests include nonlinear time series analysis and the characterization of complex system dynamics. Statistical tools for identifying fractal and multifractal phenomena, and for discriminating stochastic and chaotic dynamics have been implemented and applied to experimental and numerical records from diverse scientific fields.
