Dr. Siyi Cheng has been an Associate Professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information, China University of Geosciences, Wuhan, China, since 2020. He holds a Doctor of Engineering (2019) from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. During his doctoral studies, he studied at the University of California, Berkeley, as a government-sponsored student and established a long-term relationship with the university. His main research interests are intelligent detection technology, digital design of mechanical products, and intelligent monitoring and control of large equipment.
