Milan Žunić received his BSc in Physics from the University of Belgrade in 2002, his MSc in Materials Science from the University of Belgrade in 2006, and his Ph.D. in Materials Science (Materials for Environment and Energy) from Tor Vergata University in 2010. He is currently a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Multidisciplinary Research, University of Belgrade. His general research interests are as follows: material science, renewable sources of energy, solid-state physics and chemistry, and the microstructural and electrical characterization of materials. His specific research interest is the synthesis and characterization of electroceramic materials based on zinc oxide, titania dioxide, tin oxide, etc., obtained by chemical or sol-gel synthesis. His current research activities are as follows: solar cells based on TiO2 and ZnO, photocatalysis, and the synthesis and characterization of pure and doped ceramic materials based on ZnO and TiO2.
