Prof. Keun-Chang Kwak earned MS (1998) and PhD (2002) degrees from the Department of Electronic Engineering, at the Chungbuk National University, Cheongju, Republic of Korea. He is now a Professor in the same department. From 2003 to 2005, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, at the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada. His publication works include Convolutional Neural Networks, Neural Networks, Deep Learning, Long Short-Term Memory, Electrocardiogram Signals, and Short-Term Memory. His research interests also include Computational Intelligence, Human–Robot Interactions, and Biometrics.
