Xionghe Qin is a post-doctoral candidate at the Institute for Global Innovation and Development at the East China Normal University. He received his PhD in human geography from East China Normal University, China, and has been a visiting PhD student in the Department of Geography and Geo-Information Science at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. His research interests are world economic geography and regional development.
