Fernando Morgado-Dias was born in Coimbra, Portugal, in 1971. He received his Master's degree in Microelectronics from the University Joseph Fourier in Grenoble, France, in 1995, and his Ph.D. from the University of Aveiro, Portugal, in 2005. He is currently an Associate Professor with Habilitation at the University of Madeira and a Researcher at the Interactive Technologies Institute and Larsys/ITI. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence and Digital Hardware.
